The company became known as Rheinmetall Denel Munition (RDM).

RDM has two sites in the Western Cape, namely the Somerset West site and the Wellington site.  The Wellington site is a chemical factory manufacturing raw materials which are further converted into propellants and explosives at the Somerset West site.

RDM has two sites in the northern part of South Africa, namely the Boskop site near Potchefstroom and the Boksburg site near the OR Tambo International airport.  The Boksburg site is a forging facility which supplies forgings to the Boskop site which is mainly an ammunition filling facility.
